Jammu: Giving a push to infrastructural development in JammuWest Assembly segment, Former Minister and Ex MLA Sat Sharma (CA) starteddevelopmental works at Bhagwati Nagar area of Ward 14. He was also accompaniedby Corporator Ward 14 Parmod Kapahi, District President Ayodhya Gupta, MandalPresident and Chairman SJC Jeet Angral (Corporator), JMC (Jammu MunicipalCorporation) officials, local residents and political activists of the area.Pertinent to mention, the amount sanctioned for the construction works was fromthe CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme of Former MLA which was issuedin November, 2018.

The works will be done under the supervision of JMC (JammuMunicipal Corporation) at an estimated cost of Rupees 12.21 lakhs. The lane atSector 1 of Bhagwati Nagar area will be constructed.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Jammu Westhas progressed a lot towards development and in nearly last five years, the infrastructural development pertaining to roads, setting up of new transformers, Replacing old water pipes with fresh ones, construction of community halls, up gradation works of cremation grounds, construction of lanes and drains and other works were kept on priority in all 26 wards of Jammu Westand it is the result of same that crores of Rupees were spent in each and every ward of Assembly segment which has led to a big change towards modernization ofConstituency in every aspect.

Pramod Kapahi, Ayodhya and Jeet stated that in last five years, Jammu West witnessed over all development in every nook and corner and with the efforts of Former MLA, more major works are also in pipeline which will be taken up in coming days so that people are provided with every facility at their door steps.

JE JMC BK Raina, Keshav Chopra, Asha Sharma, Gourav Pargal,Raj Kumar, Darshan, Savitri Badya, Santosh Sharma, Arjun, Deepak, Vimal,Tripta, Poonam and several others were also present.
